             The kids and even your full family will not be able to resist this delicious dish and you will be happy to see your kids and family members taking good interest in their food.

              Ready in: 30-60 minutes

              Serves/makes: 4

              Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pound red-skinned potato cut in chunks
  • 1cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced scallions
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon each : salt and pepper
  • 1 pound fish fillet strips
  • 1 1/4 cup smashed potato chips
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce
  • 3/4 teaspoon each: paprika and salt

            Directions

  • Heat oven to 450 degrees F and set a wire rack on foiled lined baking sheet and then grease the rack with nonstick spray.
  • Then cook the potatoes in salted boiling water until you feel they are tender.
  • Just drain the water and place them on the pot and mash them.
  • Add cheese and stir continuously until they are melted.
  • Add salt and pepper, scallions and milk. Stir thoroughly to blend and cover to keep hot.
  • Beat egg in a bowl until they are foamy.
  • Now add the fish strips and toss them to coat.
  • Take another bowl to mix chips, paprika and salt and then put a few fish strips into the chip mixture and again toss the strips to coat and follow the same for all the strips.
  • Now place them on a rack.
  • Bake them until the coating becomes crispy and the fish is thoroughly cooked.
  • Then transfer the fish to platter.
  • Mix tartar sauce and tomatoes well and serve with the fish.

                      Your kid and family will love to eat this delicious and sumptuous dish as the taste of meatball are amazing and you will be highly satisfied to see your kids and family enjoying their dinner.

                 Serves/Makes: 6

                 Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2cup white breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 4 cans salt free whole tomatoes(14 1/2 ounce)un-drained and finely chopped
  • 1 (6 ounce) can salt free tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
  • 12 ounce uncooked spaghetti

      Directions

  • Combine ground round, white breadcrumbs, finely chopped fresh parsley, Parmesan cheese, sugar, ground pepper, salt, egg white and garlic and stir thoroughly.
  • Shape the mixture in the form of 18 balls (1 1/2-inch).
  • Grease the large nonstick frying pan with cooking spray.
  • Place the pan on medium high heat until it is hot.
  • Then add meatballs and cook the balls for 10 minutes until they are golden brown by turning them occasionally.
  • Now remove the meatballs from the pan.
  • Drain the pan and dry it with clean paper towel.
  • Now coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray.
  • Again place over medium heat until hot.
  • Add onion, sauté for 5 minutes until they are tender, then add tomato and finally add tomato paste, salt, red pepper and cook for 30 minutes and go on stirring.
  • Add the meatballs and cook for another 30 minutes.
  • Cook spaghetti according to the direction but don’t add salt and fat.
  • Drain water and place it in a large serving bowl and put the meatballs over the spaghetti and serve hot.

              Potatoes are the all time favorite for any age group and it becomes much more delicious if you serve it with satisfying mixture of beef, cheese and broccoli. You can make it much more palatable by serving with properly tossed salad. This is yummy and at the same time healthy for a family diet.

                 Serves/Makes: 12-16

                Ingredients

  • 8 potatoes properly washed
  • 3 tablespoon of canola oil
  • 2 sticks salted butter
  • 1 cup bacon bits ( you have to fry it of your own)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar or Jack cheese or a mixture of both and more for preparing the toppings
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • 3 green onions properly sliced
  • Black pepper freshly ground

         Directions:

  • Heat the oven to 400 degree F.
  • Then place the potatoes on a baking sheet.
  • Grease the potatoes on a baking sheet and rub them with the canola oil.
  • Start baking for 1 hour until they are thoroughly cooked.
  • Rub butter into parts.
  • Then place in a large mixing bowl and add the bacon bits and sour cream.
  • Remove the potatoes from the oven and lower the heat to 350 degree F.
  • Cut the potatoes half lengthwise and just scoop the insides into the mixing bowl. Be careful that the shell should not be damaged.
  • Lay the potato shell in a baking sheet.
  • Smash the potatoes into the mixture of butter, bacon and sour cream.
  • Put cheese, milk, seasoned salt, green onion and black pepper to taste and blend together.
  • Fill the potato shell with the filling.
  • Top each potato with grated cheese to add to its flavor and put in the oven until the potato is fully warmed through.

       This is really healthy and palatable dish and you can serve it with any kind of vegetables of your choice and will be surprised to see your kid and family enjoying good amount of vegetables for the first time.

                 Ready in: 25 Minutes

                Serves/ Makes: 4

                 Ingredients

  • 8 ounce elbow noodles ( elbow noodles)
  • 1 10 ounce finely chopped broccoli(Frozen)
  • 1 3/4 cups of double toned milk( should be divided)
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder and salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 3/4 cup of grated Cheddar cheese ( extra large)
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard

      Directions

  • Pour water in a large pot and start boiling.
  • Cook the pasta for near about 4 minutes.
  • Add the frozen broccoli while cooking and stir occasionally until you feel that the pasta and the broccoli are tender.
  • Cook for additional 5-6 minutes.
  • In the mean time place 1 1/2 cup milk in another large pot and start heating on medium-high flame until it simmers.
  • Beat the remaining 1/4 cup milk, flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small bowl and blend them thoroughly.
  • Add the flour mixture to the simmering milk and then again back to a simmer and cook and whisk continuously until the mixture becomes thick.( cook for 2-3 minutes).
  • Then remove it from the heat and mix thoroughly in Cheddar, Parmesan and mustard until the cheese melts.
  • Drain water from pasta and broccoli and add to the prepared cheese sauce.
  • Again place in the heat and cook.
  • Stir on a medium-low flame for about 1 minute until it is thoroughly heated.

Sweet and Sour chicken Drumsticks.

                          Chicken drumstick is a very popular appetizer and your kid and family will enjoy its pleasant taste if it is served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Serve it hot to your family and see the magic happening.

                           Ready in: 40 minutes

                          Makes/Serves: 4

                          Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon shredded orange zest
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon cider vinegar (properly divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (properly divided)
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 8 chicken drumsticks, (about 2 pounds), skin removed and perfectly trimmed
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

      Direction

  • Preheat grill to medium flame.
  • Prepare the dipping sauce by blending orange zest, orange juice, water, honey, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon salt and coriander in a small a saucepan.
  • Start boiling.
  • Beat properly cornstarch and the remaining 1 teaspoon vinegar in a small bowl until it becomes smooth and add to the saucepan.
  • Now return to a boil, beating it well until it thickened may be for30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • After that remove it from the heat and stir in mint.
  • Add flavor to the drumsticks by the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper.
  • Grease the grill rack and grill the drumsticks until crispy brown on all sides.
  • Serve the drumsticks hot with the dipping sauce.
